this is the third attempt to emerge audacity .now i have done emerge --sync orior to this.

what am i to do
report bug ?
post my emerge info?
emerge vlc also looks for same file .so
and has same type of error.
though it says its emerged the vlc does not come up.
esearch says not installed.
