NVidia - Failed to initialize the NVIDIA kernel module!

Witam! Mam NVidię TNT2, kernel v. 2.6.14. Zainstalowałem sobie sterowniki 6111 ( z godnie z HOW-TO z angielskiego forum Gentoo ), ustawiłem w xorg.conf sterownik na nvidia i podczas włączania X-ów wywala mi błąd.
To fragment logu X-ów dotyczący sterownika:

Co mam z tym zrobić? Próbowałem już ze sterami 6629 i 7174 ( wyższe wersje nie obsługują już TNT2 ).
Kernel i stery kompilowane tą samą wersją GCC.

jesli zadziała to dopisz sobie do /etc/modules.autoload/kernel-2.6 ten modul co by sie uruchamial przy starcie sytemu
