Need to benchmark NIC, Anything like Spray/Sprayd available?

Hey all,

I'm new to Gentoo and I want to know if there's anything like Sun's Sprayhttp://www.rocketaware.com/man/man8/spray.8.htm available. Spray is a tool used to benchmark network card performance. One machine sends packets, the other receives, and at the end you can tell how many packets were dropped. The BSDs come with Spray installed.

I checked ports and I didn't find Spray. Is there any similar tools you guys use? Thanks in advance.

I believe iperf (net-misc/iperf) does something similiar.
