this showed up with the gnome 2.12 upgrade.
i use nautilus often and love the changes i see in 2.12. i have bookmarked several ssh/ftp/samba after i use nautilus's "connecto to server" feature. it works really well, go gnome-vfs!
the problem arises when i right click on a local file or dir in nautilus and choose the "create archive" action in the context menu.
a box pops up before the archiver dialogue opens that says, "you must login to access <some ssh share>", the dialogue has a textbox for a password, 2 checkboxes "remember password for the session" and "save password in keyring" and lastly 2 buttons "cancel" and "connect".
i never use the keyring feature. i occasionally use the "remember password for the session" feature. but i dont understand why it wants me to authenticate for one of my remote shares when im trying to archive a local file. i of course dont want to authenticate so i hit cancel. the box returns over and over. i used xkill to get rid of it.
as a side note, i can open file-roller manually and do my business with no problem.
any suggestions?
