mouse doesn't respond after replugging it. [solved]

Hi,
I bought a switch to connect two computers with one keyboard, one mouse and one monitor. After I switch from computer No.1 to COmputer No.2 and back, my mouse doesn't work anymore.
I have a Logitech USB mouse which is connected via an PS2 adapter.
It doens't help to restart X either. To fix this I have to reboot.

Any help is apriciated.

/dev/psaux mice (PS/2 mice) do not support hotplugging. Can you describe your computer setup a little more? Do you have a USB port on both computers? If so, could you try plugging the KVM switch into USB ports on both computers and not use the PS/2 mouse port?

You could also try compiling the psaux driver as a module and then an rmmod/insmod might help. It depends on your hardware. But PS/2 mice just don't support hotplugging--it goes all the way back to the way IBM first made them.
