System hangs when "Unmounting network filesystems"

Apologies if this thread is a dupe; the search function kept truncating the keywords I was searching for.

I've had this problem ever since upgrading to the latest stable kernel (2.6.14-r2). When the shutdown procedure gets to this point, it stops indefinitely.

I have another system that has the same problem unmounting the local filesystems. It's using the same kernel.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know when I started having the problem, but I have it too.

I'm experiencing the same problem. What I notice is that the network daemons are stopped before the network filesystems are unmounted, is this normal? Does anyone know an solution to this issue?

Oddly, it apaears to have gone away for me. I wonder if it was a problem with baselayout? That's been updated a few times since I first posted.

I have updated baselayout a few times the past months I think and it hasn't gone away, not even with the update of last week. I now have version 1.11.14-r2, which version do you have?
