hi,
i have a amd64 3000+ @ 2250 Mhz and a ati radeaon X800 runnig kernel 2.6.13.4 , but all 3d games like (vendetta online or WoW) are very very slow, i can't even move the mouse to the quit button. is this a known problem? the only solution i found was: buy a nvidia card, i did if i know befor. so is it possible to play 3d without a new card?

thx

Do you have 3D acceleration working? What does this give:

glxinfo | grep rendering

i think so:

Code: Select all

anti@mars ~ $ glxinfo | grep rendering
direct rendering: Yes
