java problem

I'm having a problem with java while trying to update php. I use blackdown-jre.

That means you need to install a JDK as opposed to a JRE.
For example, emerge blackdown-jdk. then run (as root) java-config -S blackdown-jdk

Also do I need to remove blackdown-jre or can I have both?

Looks like the same error.

Also it looks like you can have both, I have both blackdown JRE and JDK and sun JDK and java-config lets me select between them.
