Best SNES Emulator?

What is the best SNES Emulator to use for gentoo? Perferably one with good video and sound, and minimal on the glitches.

I agree with the majority, but ZSNES is x86 only though.

If you're running on anything else, second best would be SNES9X.

SNES9X custom for mac is the best emulator ever created, other than lack of netplay. It's a fork of SNES9X that adds tons of features and a really nice interface to the core code. I wish it were easier to port, so I could share the joy of it with people who don't have macs. ZSNES always feels so lackluster next to the glory which is SNES9X custom.

And it's always great to see an SoM fan! ^_~ By the way... what were you saying about PS1? Did you mean Legend of Mana? That is also a godly game, possibly as good as SoM and SD3. It's beautiful, and really fun, especially with two players. It should run in ePSXe, but I haven't tried.

Speaking of which, I should test my DualShock2 -> USB converter in gentoo. Wish me luck =P.

Get Chrono Trigger. SoM is awesome but ChronoTrigger f'n rox--then again how many SquareSoft RPG's don't?

And of course, Super Metroid.
