monmotha - configure port forwarding

I am trying to forward port 12345 on my firewall to port 22 on 192.168.0.25, so I edit the /etc/monmotha/monmotha file:

TCP_ALLOW="12345"

then:

Code: Select all

TCP_FW="12345:22>192.168.0.25"

save the monmotha file and restart

Code: Select all

/etc/init.d/monmotha restart

and it won't let me in. The error is:

Code: Select all

ssh: connect to host XXXXX.mine.nu port 12345: Connection refused

Also, it woild seem that the transparent proxy section does not work either, but that is a separte subject.

Can anyone help?

Well...it looks correct...I also use monmotha and for me it works...the only ideas I have:
- is the IP correct?
- is ssh started?

Hey,

Thanks for the reply. I never did get it to work. Double checked everything. Switched to shorewall and it works very well. It is easily configured and the programer just burned out and it will probably not be supported into the future. I will probably be looking for another solution.
