What threads are in here?
This is the place for announcing and discussing software (especially ebuilds, scripts) created by Gentoo users for Gentoo users. Much of this software is experimental and may break your system. Furthermore there is absolutely no support from Gentoo developers for this software. Thus, please do not create a bug report in the Gentoo Bugzilla about any problems you have with software in this forum. Note also that questions about other distros, Gentoo-based or not, do not belong here.

A piece of software I found in this forum broke my system. What should I do?
That's likely to happen and you were warned about it. If you can't fix the problem yourself, try to get support from whomever posted the software here. Do not create a bug report in the Gentoo Bugzilla about any problems with software found here.

Portage contains stable and testing (unstable) packages. Is this some kind of experimental portage tree?
In no way. Things you find here are in no way associated with portage. Most of it will never find its way into portage.

I have some other comments or questions about this forum. What should I do?
