I am seting up my tv as a second monitor for my computer. I have had success so far with this. I have managed to get the TV configured and working with the nvidia twinview implementation. I also emerged kde with the xinerama use flag so it is aware of the two monitors.
It works fine, except the background still spans across both monitors. This is not desired, since I don't expect to have my TV tuned into my computer all the time. This is besides the fact that attempting to span across two screens at different resolutions doesn't work too well anyway.
Is it possible to kde keep the background to only one screen and either offer the option to duplicate it to the other or pick another background for the second monitor? I've looked in the control center, but can not find such an option.
Thanks for you time.
