aclocal update HOW?

Hi all! Among other xmms packages, I'm trying to emerge xmm-mpg123,
but i et the following errormessage:

It says, that I need to update my aclocal.m4, but how can I do that?
When i run aclocal, i get:

aclocal
aclocal-1.9: `configure.ac' or `configure.in' is required

How can i update my aclocal??? So far, I' have never done this.....

There's currently no real solution... there are two related Bugzilla entries...

I just thought, that there is problem with my settings, that I need to fix , but i couldn't update my aclocal (actually i don't really know how to do that, or even that what it is for.. ), and thought it worth questioning.
