mozilla firefox problems

  • Quote

Post by AgaKhan » Mon Feb 07, 2005 1:41 pm

Having a strange problem with mozilla firefox.

When entering some pages, it exits! This also ocures this epiphany. (on the same page)

When i run /usr/lib/MozillaFirefox/firefox-bin it works fine, and when I run firefox as root, it also works fine.

But firefox as normal user, it crash/exits.

And yes, I have freetype-2.1.5-r1 installed...

Anyone know howto fix? :)

Actually it is what I ever thought firefox has a problem with:
JavaScript can mak firefox go mad.

Don't ask me when and why but firefox (and mozilla) have probs with this.

But it has nothing to do with Java as vonhelmet said: JavaScript != Java

Java runtime seems to be the problem. When i try java-config -o, it shows nothing...

The problem seems to be one-user-only-problem.. I'll do some searching...
