kernel panic[SOLVED]

After the install, i rebooted the system and get a kernel panic. error as follows:
Warning: unable to open an initial console.
Kernel panic: no init found. Try passing init= option to kernel.

any ideas?

did you use genkernel or make menuconfig?

I bet that would help a lot if you provided extra-informations as for example your kernel .config and possibly grub.conf

fixed..... redid install and running grub.... now to fix networking lol
