aria emerge fails

Problems with emerge or ebuilds? Have a basic programming question about C, PHP, Perl, BASH or something else?

I've got just the same problem... :(
Trying to emerge aria-0.10.2_beta7, but with the same result.... :cry:

Could somebody solve this problem? :roll:

I have had this problem for at least a year. I have never figured out what it is. It appears to be some problem with recursion in the compiling of aria.

EDIT: my "solution" was to find an RPM for aria, and use that. I still have the rpm, and can upload it in case there is a problem getting it.

Here is the link: it is for version 0.10.1, not the new 1.0, and it uses gtk, not gtk2, so it is really ugly. Sorry it is the best I can offer.

You probably need to do --nodeps or somthing to install it - it don't remember exactly.

I would really like to get the ebuild to compile, and I think I even submitted a bug on it. I will double check.
