(solved)genkernel fails to emerge

when i try to emerge genkernel it gives me a code 77 (media error) and stops there. i think it has some thing to do with the intergrated processor i'm using a ( VIA C3). in my make.conf i listed my processor as via nehemiah cus during hardware detect it listed it like that. when i tried manual configuration i found cyrix 3 via in the processor settings and i pretty sure that is the one. but when i try to emerge other things later i get more errors please help me! re-check the settings in your etc/make.conf the property settings for C3 are this :

Eden C3/Ezra (Via)

CHOST="i586-pc-linux-gnu"
CFLAGS="-march=i586 -m3dnow -O3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer"
CXXFLAGS="-march=i586 -m3dnow -O3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer"

Thanks ep98 after changing chost everything worked out fine even the problems with emerging metalog,hotplug,etc..
