cdrdao - 1.1.9 - compile failure

Problems with emerge or ebuilds? Have a basic programming question about C, PHP, Perl, BASH or something else?

No idea what that could be about, don't see anything that makes me think I'm missing a dependency that isn't appropriately checked...

Ideas?

Using 1.1.8-r1 for now.

Already not using gnome, since I don't use gnome:

Code: Select all

[ebuild     U ] app-cdr/cdrdao-1.1.9 [1.1.8-r1] -debug -gnome 0 kB
Also, double checked gcc-profile but its currently set (3.4.2)

just reset the gcc profile again anyway especially if you have updated gcc-config at all recently. it might help.

I don't know if you ever resolved this, but I just ran into the same problem... Looked in bugs, there are 2 bug reports on the package for this issue, but both are only semi-reproducible. I used ebuild to compile and merge and it worked ok. Seems odd that ebuild worked but emerge would not.

ebuild app-cdr/cdrdao-1.1.9.ebuild unpack && ebuild app-cdr/cdrdao-1.1.9.ebuild compile && ebuild app-cdr/cdrdao-1.1.9.ebuild install && ebuild app-cdr/cdrdao-1.1.9.ebuild qmerge

Just copy and paste that whole thing to a command line and see if it works... unless I mistyped it or screwed up the syntax it should.

it should be app-cdr/cdrdao/cdrdao-1.1.9.ebuild, but anyway, that worked for me!

I just had the same problem. But I simply "tried again" (emerge -u world) and it worked the second time around. I did not have to use ebuild.

Cheers,
Andre
