i typed 'y' then enter then...

yabootconfig:cannot find a kernel, please locate one?

Yaboot Unable to Locate Kernel

When Yabootconfig asked for my kernel as you described, I told it

Code: Select all

/mnt/gentoo/boot/kernel-2.6.7
. If you used a different kernel, replace this location with the location of your kernel. Hope that helps.[/code]

In other words

make a kernel
put it somewhere
make sure you tell /etc/yaboot.conf where it is.
