Problem with gnome after updating gtk+

Hello All

I just updated my system about an hour ago and I am having some troubles. The following packages were updated:

Wed Apr 28 19:29:31 2004 --> dev-libs/glib-2.4.0
Wed Apr 28 19:32:54 2004 --> x11-libs/pango-1.4.0
Wed Apr 28 19:34:17 2004 --> dev-libs/atk-1.6.0
Wed Apr 28 19:52:40 2004 --> x11-libs/gtk+-2.4.0-r1
Wed Apr 28 19:57:54 2004 --> x11-libs/gtk+-1.2.10-r11

and, after doing so, gnome hung when I tried to log out. I then rebooted and I get the following error when I log in:

Failed to load image gnome-terminal.png

Details: Couldn't recognize the image file format for file '/usr/share/icons/Gorilla/scalable/apps/gnome-terminal.svg'

I am using the "gorilla" theme from gnome-themes-extras -- so I re-emerged it. The log out problems are gone but I still get the "failed to load image" error.

Any thoughts regarding where I could look for the problem?

Try to remerge librsvg and gnome-icon-theme and see if it can help.

this was outlined in the ebuild of gtk+

I have exactly the same problem but reemerging librsvg or gnome-icon-them didn't solve the problem.

And I don't have the qpkg tool installed. What's that tool ?

Anyone who has an idea how to fix this issue?

It's ok now.

After the reemerging of the previous packages, a reboot did it.

I thought rebooting was a MS habit
