NDISWRAPPER and iwconfig not recognizing my wireless

Here's a link w/ the full description of the problem i'm having
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php? ... ght=wmp54g

So i've started recording down what dmesg returns after each step in the instalation of ndiswrapper.

I have a Linksys wmp54g pci card. So first i re-compiled a kernel w/ wireless extensions enabled. Then i re-emerged 'pciutils' and 'wireless-tools'. After running 'insmod' w/ teh ndiswrapper driver, dmesg returned this:
"ndiswrapper version 0.3 loaded"

Then i run the loaddriver w/ the correct windows drivers, and iwconfig reports:
lo no wireless extensions.
eth0 no wireless extensions.
eth1 no wireless extensions.

If i run iwconfig before loading the drivers, i only get
lo no wireless extensions
eth0 no wireless extensions

The dmesg reports this:
eth1: power management not possible

I am at a loss right now. I have NO idea where to begin in order to get this running. I really want to get this running, so if anybody could help me, i would GREATLY appreciate it. I'm not sure if it is a PCI communication problem, or some settings i'm missing, i have no idea.

Thanks to all who post,

Adam

I have that exact card and I just got it working two days ago. I worked so hard to get it to work that I made a doc in the forums on how to set it up. Please check this out. I hope this helps. If you still have problems I would be glad to try to help you.
