vixie-cron doesn't run crontab [resolved]

Hi !

I've installed vixie-cron as it's said in the installation guide.

My user account is in group cron

I use crontab -e ton create set up my crontab but it doesn't run...

No mail, no message in /var/log/messages

I really don't understand what I should do.

did you start it via /etc/init.d/cron start ?
rc-update add cron default

just replace cron with its real name.

Yes

And I've just solved the problem...

The method is not very clean :
I do a symbolic link : sendmail -> postfix (as I have no smtp installed)
