Mozilla ebuild -P problem ; Mozilla binary -> no problem

Hello,

Sometime ago I have asked some help with a problem that I have
with Mozilla. Unfortunately no one could help me. In mozilla text is
missing in almost al webpages. I have installed gentoo from scratch
(stage1) a number of times and the problem appears each time
after I had emerge-d "acrobat reader" (once I have installed
open office binaries it also triggered the problem)

Yesterday I have compiled a mozilla version 1.1beta (although it
is still masked) and it has the same problem.

BUT:

I have also retrieved the binary version of mozilla 1.1b and installed
it. And it does not have the problem.

- It it safe to say that this problem is gentoo related?
(libs, includes, ..,???)
- Or does this only mean that my compiler options for compiling
mozilla are not the same as the ones used for the distribution binaries
(of mozilla) and the problems are related to that.
- Is this extra information usefull for problem analyses?
