Trying to start a virtual machine with OpenGL and 3D acceleration enabled yields the following error:

Code: Select all

Turning OpenGL and hardware acceleration allows it to start fine. It should be noted that this issue only occurs when using my laptop on the discrete gpu mode on bios, it's fine when running it on the intel iGPU when on the hybrid graphics mode. My nvidia drivers are all setup, nvidia-smi outputs the correct stuff and lists my GPU.

I'm a new gentoo user so bare with me.
Any help is appreciated

Specs:
- cpu: i7-11850H
- gpu: NVIDIA Quadro T1200
- ram: 32GB DDR4
- kernel: 6.18.18-gentoo-dist
- wm: SwayWM
