netdata web gui fails

I just installed net-analyzer/netdata-2.5.3 from portage without apparent error. My manual startup looks like:

Then I pointed firefox at: http://localhost:19999
And received a blank firefox window except for the following text: "File does not exist, or is not accessible:"

Any ideas on getting netdata up and running?


(Note the older version in portage, 1.47.5, works but does not monitor the GPU, so I wanted to try 2.5.3")
