[solved] Enlarge a exfat partition

I've cloned a SD Card to a bigger one. The last partition is an exfat and after that there is "nothing" but a lot of free space. I DON'T have mounted any partitions on the SD card: I've tried KDE partitionmanager and gparted, with both tools i only can move the partition, but not expand it to the free space. Here are a few informations about my system:

Code: Select all

emerge --search exfat

[ Results for search key : exfat ]

*  sys-fs/exfat-utils
      Latest version available: 1.4.0
      Latest version installed: [ Not Installed ]
      Size of files: 199 KiB
      Homepage:      https://github.com/relan/exfat
      Description:   exFAT filesystem utilities
      License:       GPL-2+

*  sys-fs/exfatprogs
      Latest version available: 1.3.0
      Latest version installed: 1.3.0
      Size of files: 384 KiB
      Homepage:      https://github.com/exfatprogs/exfatprogs
      Description: Userspace utilities for the exFAT filesystem
      License:       GPL-2

*  sys-fs/fuse-exfat
      Latest version available: 1.4.0-r1
      Latest version installed: 1.4.0-r1
      Size of files: 164 KiB
      Homepage:      https://github.com/relan/exfat
      Description:   exFAT filesystem FUSE module
      License:       GPL-2+
I also read the Gentoo wiki page at https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/ExFAT and set it in the kernel:

Code: Select all

File systems  --->
   DOS/FAT/EXFAT/NT Filesystems  --->
      <*> exFAT filesystem support
Did i something wrong or shall i delete the partition and create a big one and restore the backup files?

Both sets of tools has exFAT resize code pending or requested and does not exist yet.
https://github.com/exfatprogs/exfatprogs/issues/134
https://github.com/relan/exfat/pull/145

Not possible to resize at this time

Thanks a lot, i couldn't find this information. I "backup" the files and create a new partition.
