Mbp 9,2 problems

Hello fellow gentoo users im new to gentoo and im currently having issues
With a mbp 9,2 specifically the wifi module my machine has a broadcom BCM4331. Deos anyone know a reliable way to get the wifi working in a tty i very much appreciate awnsers. Thank you :]

Thank you for replying very sorry im replying extremely late but i ended finding out you cant use wifi on dhcpcd and i installed network manager plus i was using a proprietary version of my wifi drivers that didnt even work so i used b43 and works just fine

I find this hard to believe as I use dhcpcd daily with my wifi at home. dhcpcd the service, not though netifrc

wifi wpa_supplicant build it with +tkip , and theres a specific syntax, you use wpa_passphrase to enter your ssid and passwwwword into /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf theres a chance
you have a fullmac card i think?

Generally, if wpa_supplicant works with USE=tkip and fails with USE=-tkip, this is an indication that the wireless access point is badly configured, and needs to be changed to stop offering the insecure TKIP-related methods. Enabling USE=tkip on wpa_supplicant should be viewed as a temporary and insecure workaround, not as a solution.
