Inkscape v1.4 has no color management [slvd]

I use Inkscape v1.4

There is not Color Management with the Inkscape I have installed. v1.4

No profile
Edit->Preferences->Input/Output->Color management->Display profile

and

Document properties->Color you can look up Available Color Profiles

I've read the following to see if it would work.

and installed emerge -a x11-misc/xiccd

no luck

solved by
installing x11-misc/xiccd
and rebooting

emerge -a x11-misc/xiccd

Perhaps x11-misc/xiccd should be added as a dependency combined with a use-flag color-management to media-gfx/inkscape.
There is a new version 0.4.1 of xiccd available on the project's git repository.
Xiccd itself is very interesting, because it contributes to the X11 infrastructure (rather than eliminating X11 for no good reason).
