Ancient account blocking registration

I haven't used this forum in a long time.

My preferred email is apparently in use by an old account under a name I don't remember.

I am currently registered with a POP3 email with an uncertain future, because I don't have any alternatives left.

Is there a way to regain use of my preferred email?

Any forum mod need to contact you to make sure you can validate your email

There is username change requests topic admins keep track of, but since you already started a new thread, reporting it should get the job done too

Please e-mail forum-mods@gentoo.org or send a private message to an Administrator with the details and we can look into it (e-mail will be better since more than one gets the message at once, and some may be away for an extended period of time) .
