distcc on Kubernetes

distcc on Kubernetes
Howdy. I am thinking of making my local hosts run as K8s nodes. I did a quick search on Startpage, and found this: https://lastviking.eu/distcc_with_k8.html Just curious if anyone has created a setup with distcc running as containers on K8s for use with Portage? If so, was this site your base, or did you find (or write!) a better one? Cheers!

Have you tried it? How are your results?
I guess it depends much on what you are running on your cluster besides DistCC and how this other services/deployments are configured.
You don't want Kubernetes to scale your other services or move them from one host to another just because DistCC uses all of the hosts resources.
