I've had an Apple alu keyboard for a long time and yet I never paid attention on configuring it properly on a TTY — everything's fine in X. I've tried a couple of keymaps under /usr/share/keymaps and extensions in /usr/share/keymaps/i386 but none of them work — at best I get a completely garbled keymap, like Ctrl prints an 'e', cursor left prints an 's' (whatever, I don't remember exactly but you get the picture). What options should I set in /etc/conf.d/keymaps for this kind of keyboard?
What I tried:
Code: Select all
keymap="mac-fr"Code: Select all
keymap="mac-be"Code: Select all
keymap="be-latin1"
extended_keymaps="applkey"Any idea?
Thanks in advance.
