Portage complaining

While trying to update my gentoo system I am getting the following error message:

How can I best resolve this issue?

Some possible options from best to worst:
- switch to app-eselect/eselect-repository and don't use layman anymore
- wait a bit for stabilization of next version, see bug #720934
- use ~testing layman right now which support python 3.7
- temporarily re-add python3_6 to TARGETS (or just layman+deps, or anything else that needs it), but remember to cleanup later as 3_6 target won't work forever.

Absolutely the same problem.

Now I'm just waiting (second variant from Ionen), but just found out about eselect-repository I'm interested in it. Starting new topic.
