Preferences immediatly crash in LXQt

I have just installed LXQt, with openbox as the window manager. However I immediatly noticed a problem. None of the settings related applications will start. They all flash when lauched and then nothing happens.
When I run the command(lxqt-config) on the command line then I get this output:

I have already made sure it was running and I get similar outputs for commands like lxqt-config-globalkeyshortcuts. Does anybody have an idea of how to fix this?

Edit: I found a problem. When I run dbus-daemon --session, nothing happens. There is no output, it just sits there on a blank line.

Are you running X with startx? If it's that the case, prepend dbus-launch to the lxqt/openbox session command.
