Undo pip uninstall

I accidentally ran

pip freeze | xargs pip uninstall -y

in the wrong console where the latter has root privileges and now there are some related problems as you may imagine. Is there anything like a requirements.txt that I can use to retrieve the system related pip installations?

emerge -e @world

may not be the fastest solution but solved the problem...

Could you explain why that solved the problem? Running pip uninstall should only remove files owned by pip, but not files owned by Portage. Rebuilding world would restore all the files owned by Portage, but would have no effect on pip.
