i have a little problem, i hope some of the site maintainers can help me :-) :-)
i'm currently posting as "elektrohirn" but i want to change my username to "MOS-FET" if it's possible. unfortunately, i've already created an account called "mos-fet", so could this one be deleted? i'm asking for this because i don't want all my posts and my rank that i have with the "elektrohirn" account to be deleted or something.
well i hope this is possible, if not, then well wouldn't be too bad :-)
so this is me again (elektrohirn). i just want to proof that the "mos-fet" account is really mine and that i don't just want to kick a user out to grap it's username so would be nice if you could delete this "mos-fet" account and switch the username "elektrohirn" to "MOS-FET" (uppercase if possible).
It has been our policy to not delete accounts that have posts. This causes the posts to show up as being from a "Guest" which can be confusing if more than one person has posted as a Guest in the same thread. We really don't want to lose information like that.
In addition, the case of your user name will be preserved for the purposes of display on the screen, but not for purposes of detecting a duplicate. (i.e. MOS-FET and mos-fet are duplicate accounts..) However, I have swaped your accounts. Hopefully, this is a good sollution.
if i never try anything, i never learn anything..
if i never take a risk, i stay where i am..
My first registration at this forum as "revertex" did work fine at least 1 month, after this it says my pass was wrong.
(dunno why, my stupid pass is too stupid to forget)
With no chance to login, time to new registration, this time as "revertex_dot_net".(toooo long to type)
Is there any way to change to "revertex", my old nick?
I'm a soul without body without my old nick!
Thanks in advance!

The yahoo! addy was epicmyth1@yahoo.com (I think)
and the username was epicmyth
It is our policy to not delete inactive accounts because the posts are then assigned to a 'Guest' user. This makes following threads more difficult, especially if two accounts have been deactivated in the same thread. However, it would be possible to swap usernames with the old account if this is what you would like.

revertex_dot_net - You are in the same boat as bhicksric in that your other account needs to have a username as well. I will swap the two if that is something you are interested.
