pcmcia problems

i looked at the posts and none of the answers fixed my problem so i'll just ask it for all to see...

i have a laptop that uses a pcmcia card for networking. after the install, the network stuff doesnt come up. i added pcmcia_core, i82365, and ds to my modules.autoload file, but it doesnt work. once i get logged in, i just do a cardmgr -f and a dhcpd and its working fine. how do i get it to do that automagically? i get tired of having to type that junk in every time.

Use the pcmcia init-script.

i did that, but during boot up it still fails to load the pcmcia_core, i82365, and ds. but the weird thing is, i dont have to load them to get it all working. like i said. all i have to do is a cardmgr -f and dhcpd and its up. but i'd just like it to work like i want it to, yknow?
