Emerge Mod_Perl

Hey guys I am trying to emerge mod_perl and for the last three days it starts up and says 1to 10 to merge and then can not conect to a site and gets a 404 Error. Anyone know whats going on or where I can emerge mod_perl.

I would guess that it can't find the sources for the package. Try posting the actual output of the emerge command.
