Is there a way to configure pam_pkcs such that it will autologin based on whether a specific card is present? I don't care about the certificates on the card or authenticating myself to the card. I just want "Card with serial number XYZ is present? Autologin/unlock. Card not present? lock screen/show login screen".
As best as I can understand pam_pkcs mappers they only work with certificates and authentication data within the chip, there's no way to check the card serial number?

Maybe what I want doesn't need to involve pam_pkcs but gets pam to chat with opensc-tool --serial
