Conflicting info handbook vs make.conf page

Just thought I'd point out that the /etc/portage/make.conf page has a discrepancy versus the Handbook, regarding CPU flags.

From Handbook (which I followed):

echo "*/* $(cpuid2cpuflags)" > /etc/portage/package.use/00cpu-flags

From make.conf:

Place this string into /etc/portage/packages.use as is:
FILE /etc/portage/package.use/00cpuflags

Note the missing dash (-) in the filename in the second. I was referencing this page to perform some sanity checks on my install, and I knew I had performed this step via the Handbook already, but trying to cat this file obviously failed lol.

If I posted this in the wrong forum, I apologize - I wasn't sure where to, since it's not *really* an installation problem....

The file name means nothing to portage except how to sort reading them. It's mostly for the administrator to know what is in them.

Yeah. Just pointing it out in case someone else follows the same path as I do and then wonders why the filename in the make.conf page doesn't exist lol.

More about consistency than anything - but anyone paying attention will figure it out quickly enough as I did.
