thanks for the Live GUI USB Image

Hello,

after 7 years I had to replace my notebook. I used "Live GUI USB
Image" and the installation was much more easier than with "Minimal
CD". gentoo-kernel package saved me from cumbersome kernel
configuration. Thank you a lot!

The only trouble was with boot. Finally, I use EFI+GRUB option and I
finished with kernel image in /boot on root partition. Though I
mounted efi vfat partition on /efi, I have EFI stuff both on the boot
partition and in /efi on the root partition. It is confusing and
possibly not safe. But it boots.

Oh, I see, /efi is automounted by systemd.
