Is there a reason cron.log isn't rotated by default?

app-admin/sysklogd includes a logrotate snippet with the following contents:

Is there a reason cron.log is missing there? Can I just add it there manually or would that trigger some race condition between cron and logrotate? Is there a better solution to rotate cron.log?
