Are Gentoo Support GNU/Hurd Kernel On Future?

Recently GNU/Hurd and GNU/Mach microkernel were added to Gentoo repositories. Also i saw few packages such as OpenRC got Hurd fixes. There is a prep for Hurd kernel, will Gentoo begin give support for GNU/Hurd kernel in future? I didn't see any blog post or wiki article on website.

That just means that it's not ready yet, and there's just work toward it at the moment. Documentation and/or announcement and other support bits may(?) come when it's at least more ready for testing.

Not that I really know the plans either, the addition came out a bit out of nowhere Possible that I missed some discussion somewhere though.

The idea isn't new though, albeit this historically only been in overlays.
