Hi! I recently uploaded my package to the GURU's dev branch and have a question: How long does it take for a package to be available on the GURU? I'd assume it gets updated periodically, but what exactly is that period?

It really depends, since everything is dependend on the maintainer, even on the dev branch.

If you're worried about the turn-around time at GURU, you could create your own publicly-accessible overlay. If you still want the package hosted at GURU, you can use it as your staging area, deleting it from yours when it shows up there.

Usually this is somewhere on the scale of a couple of days, though it can vary wildly. If it takes too long feel free to ping someone in the #gentoo-guru channel on IRC.
