i just installed gentoo and got it to boot. my biggest issue is i have no wifi with network manager. i also install wpa_supplicant. I'm currently on the gentoolive so i'm able to get on the internet. where did i go wrong? When i do iwconfig i this:
(chroot) livecd / # iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.
eno1 no wireless extensions.
wlp12s0 no wireless extensions.
however im on livegui right now. when i boot normally its show nothing. My hardware card is Realtek rtl89xxx series for my motherboad asus x870e-h strix. Help?

Hard block means the transmitter is off with a physical switch somewhere.
Soft block means it's turned off in software.
Your bluetooth and wifi should be listed.

There is no need to reinstall. That's a bad habit you may have acquired fro some binary distros.
You can get back into your chroot, like you had never left it.
From the handbook ...
Do not partition your HDD
Do not make any filesystems.
Do not install a stage3
... any of those steps will destroy your install.
Mount all your filesystems.
Perform the chroot steps
Your original install is just as you left it. It's running on the boot media kernel and services, just as it was during your install.
