Anyone using engauge-digitizer?

Anyone out there using our version of media-gfx/engauge-digitizer ? If yes, I'd be very happy to hear how well it works.

Background, upstream deleted their git repos and web pages some time ago; what we have is restored from old backups of the git repository with an additional Qt6 port...

I don't use it but I think you mean media-gfx/engauge?

Because this search result is the only thing I can find. Listed at https://www.portagefilelist.de does not really tell much since I do not have any data about the uploaders, but someone who uses pfl does have this package installed.

It work fine when started as "Engauge", "exec Engauge" or "engauge", but when started as "exec engauge", it fail to start and just close the terminal.

Maybe this have to do with the way it is installed:

Code: Select all

equery f engauge
...
/usr/bin
/usr/bin/Engauge
/usr/bin/engauge -> Engauge
...
This can confuse existing scripts that use engauge.
