Yeah. Shift PgUp/PgDn does the scrolling, or mouse scroll. At least by default, I think.
Yes, you can scroll, but you can't click and drag the scrollbar to get to the spot you want. I set the scrollback multiplier to 15 so it moves a bit more quickly with the mouse wheel, but it still takes more time and attention if you want to go back a few thousand lines.

Kitty provides some type of pager functionality but I haven't got to researching it yet. Just noticed it in the configuration file.
Can be used as pure wayland terminal (when configured this way and running under wayland, it is secured against keygrabbing or other hacks from other runnnig X windows) but can also be run as a pure X terminal.
It can (when configured with way) display Fira Code with correct glyphs, e.g. the combination != is displayed as an unequal sign symbol whose width is two symbols (with more space). Improves code readability a lot.
I've been using xfce4-terminal lately. Was using kconsole I think when I had kde installed just because it was the default installed.
Maybe I just don't know anything, but my terminal emulator's features really don't matter too much for me. I'm always using tmux so paging, tabs, splits, etc. are always included and easily configurable for me, and, best of all, keyboard driven.
I could do fine with st, but xfce4 terminal lets me change theme and font/size so easily, I'm not going to bother with it again. Also, I found out you can turn off all the menu bars and even WM decorations on this baby. You probably can on others too, but no reason to switch now that I have it the way I want.
I usually work in kitty or terminator. Kitty is nice for my needs, especially in a window manager. I like to use terminator if I need to use a full desktop environment, however.
