Hi,
When I'm trying to play music in kde 6.3, the sounds is unlistenable, it drops out every few seconds like it's stuttering. I've narrowed it down to Kde as if I run the same setup in LxQT it sounds fine.
Has anyone else had this problem - I've changed from a 6.12 to 6.14 kernel but no joy. The rest of the system is amd64.

Can you report your CPU utilization while playing music?
Are you using pulse? You may try to play a wav file using aplay and selecting the correct alsa device (to ensure it's not using pulse) and see if stuttering is there. If not, it's a pulseaudio problem.
You may also like to change your cpu governor to performance to just see what happens.
