Does anyone have a www-apps/tt-rss.99999999 that builds?

What breaks, for me, is the PATCHES in particular, the tt-rss-no-chmod.patch.

I can get tt-rss to build by simply removing this 'patch' from the ebuild, but I do not understand what the patch is trying to achieve and if the patch is still relevant.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Open a bug report on bugs.gentoo.org and explain the build error.
The patch you mentioned does not apply any more, because tt-rss has changed that file. It happens with live ebuilds.

no_chmod patch is no longer required. A PR 41756 is already waiting.

I want to warn that mysql support is now dropped and was done in a time nearly chmod removal.
Forcing live version by removing the patch may cause issues for those who are still using mysql.

Thanks for the notification.

Looks like I am not going to do any further updates to tt-rss if mariadb/mysql support is being removed.

I really could not be bothered migrating to postresql only for tt-rss, as all my other databases are in mariadb. (at least not at this stage, tt-rss works just fine)
