Network broken after update

Writing from a phone,
cannot connect to internet
from the computer. Sorry about the style.

After an update I started to get messages like "_netns command not found".

I located the _netns function and added a source command to a relevant script. Now I'm getting "/sbin/netpligd does not exist".

How to fix?

This looks like net-misc/netifrc-0.7.4 calls _netns in iproute2.sh, which it can't find, which was resolved as INVALID. It links to the forum thread can't find eth0 after update. Is that thread useful to you?

Yes looks like the same error. I downgraded netifrc to 0.7.3 and everything is back to normal. I will investigate what exactly is broken on my end. Perhaps an old /etc/init.d/net.eno1 which is not a symlink to /etc/init.d/net.lo.
