[SOLVED] KDE NetworkManager & plasma-nm

Post by ROGA » Sun Jan 22, 2023 2:06 pm

Hi,

I successfully installed kde plasma 5 with systemd and updated the whole @world to the latest version. I first configured my network connection with systemd and this worked. But with kde I would like to use plasma-nm but unfortunality this does not work. In the system tray I have the network icon that shows me a red X. I could not establish any Networkconnection, I do not see any nic there. As I says, with systemd it works. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance

I forgot to say that I also installed networkmanager in conjunction with plasma-nm.

As a new try I uninstalled both NetworkManager and plasma-nm and rebooted my system. After this, I installed both again and now it seems to work as it should. No clou why, but I'm happy now ;-)

Thanks!
regards,

Roland
